So, I've not been good about posting...

I certainly haven't been good about posting on this new blog since the beginning of the year! Part of that stems from my laptop period key not working and me being lazy about copying and pasting a period from somewhere else. It took a while before I even figured out I should do that! This has been a nice week as I've been off work all week while my husband took his annual golf trip to Florida. It's my chance to have time alone, which is something I crave since he works from home and is usually around when I'm home. I'm someone who needs a little space! Since I've started this blog I've started a market bag (crochet) and I'm 95% finished with it. Of course I moved on to my next project before finishing it because I got bored. I'll try to finish it today even though I've been saying that for a week now! I did find a shawl at Ravelry that I'm trying to knit. I haven't knit in many years and only finished a couple projects when I did knit so I'm having a really hard time. I seemed to be doing ok but stopped by the local yarn store to ask a question. I ripped out what I'd worked on because I was told I was doing it the wrong way but it turns out I was right. They did suggest a bigger needle though since I appear to be a tight knitter. I bought a bigger size and tried starting over but it doesn't look as good as it did before. Is it because when it was smaller it was harder to see mistakes? Not sure but I'll give it a try again today, while it's light out, and see what happens. I'll try to post a picture at some point. Enjoy the day! It's supposed to get close to 40 degrees here! YAY!
